Our turn, E92 M3 crash at Devil’s Elbow, Lydden Hill

Chireh, my dad, kicking the crap out of this M3.

Sometimes you get out onto the track and you get a feeling, you get into a rhythm and start building pace. You feel untouchable as you start overtaking cars and picking up more and more speed.

That is exactly what happened here.

Considering both of us are novices to track days, I could not believe it when I saw him out there. It looked so good, it looked like he could do no wrong.

Till he did!

After watching the footage over, it looks like he really wanted to overtake and lost his driving line. Bombing in way too fast and in the incorrect position, he experienced huge understeer and went straight into the gravel trap.

Thankfully the gravel did a terrific job of scrubbing off that speed and he managed to leave with only a bruised ego.

We are hoping to have the car up and running again for Spring 2022 better than ever before!
